About Us

Bradley and Sam have a very knowledgeable equine background stemming from a very early age in both their lives.

They have been married since 2005  and are not just kept busy by the horses in their care but also by their son Charlie who was born Christmas day in 2005 he was 3 months early but being as determined as his parents in life he fought hard and is now a thriving young boy. Bradley say’s that this was the best and most special moment in his life and not only had he become a father but two months later he had also trained his first double, that season from 24 runners the horses had achieved two wins and nine placing’s between them.

Bradley Clarke
From the early age of six Bradley found he had a passion for horses which grew ever stronger as time went on, after hunting and competing at local events this passion turned to racing.

After leaving school he went and worked and learned from some of the best trainers in the country to include Mr J L Dunlop, Mr R Lee, Mr A King and Mr R Charlton, whilst learning from these great trainers Bradley also had 90 rides over jumps and had one winner, his first ride pulled up and his first runner was a winner, he says he is delighted his strike rate as a  trainer  is better then  his strike rate as a jockey.

With Bradley’s  attention to detail and limiting the number of horses in his care to just twenty one will enable him to provide individual training programs to suit each individual horse and also being able to provide all the time his owners require ensuring they get the most out of their experience as a race horse owner.

Sam
Bradley’s wife Sam also shares Bradley’s passion for racing and though she never worked for a trainer she to rode from an early age and was very successful at show jumping, winning many local and county show jumping events, her experience in this field has proved invaluable in teaching the youngsters the basics of jumping before they progress to the schooling ground if they are in need of a little bit of extra help.

Sam was also a vetinary nurse for 11 years and has been running a successful livery yard for the last 5 years. Since their move to Mousewell Farm in March 2007 Sam now focuses all her time and attention on running the racing office and looking after Charlie .

Sam says she gets a real buzz from seeing all the horses race especially when they run well, but the biggest thrill is seeing the youngsters race and progress from the beginning of their careers.

When contacting Mousewell Sam will often be your first point of contact and she will gladly help you with any questions you may have.
